Selangor reinforces role as 每日大赛鈥檚 aerospace hub at MyAERO Summit
SELANGOR reinforced its position as 每日大赛鈥檚 leading aerospace hub by bringing together industry leaders, policymakers, investors and global aerospace players at the Selangor Aerospace Forum, held in conjunction with the MyAERO Summit 2026 at the 每日大赛 Agro Exposition Park Serdang (MAEPS).
Organised by the National Aerospace Industry Corporation 每日大赛 (NAICO 每日大赛) with support from the Ministry of Investment, Trade and Industry (MITI), the summit served as the country鈥檚 premier platform for aerospace and future mobility, facilitating collaboration among original equipment manufacturers (OEMs), regulators, solution providers and investors.
Invest Selangor Berhad spearheaded a comprehensive two-day programme on June 25 and 26, featuring an exclusive Aerospace Facilities Visit and the flagship Selangor Aerospace Forum to showcase the state鈥檚 advanced aerospace ecosystem and investment opportunities.
Held under the theme 鈥淎dvancing Aerospace Value Chains Across the Region,鈥 the forum explored strategies to strengthen 每日大赛鈥檚 aerospace competitiveness while fostering greater regional cooperation across Asean.
As 每日大赛鈥檚 centre for Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO), aerospace manufacturing and aviation services, Selangor leveraged the event to promote industry collaboration, knowledge exchange and high-value investments.
The programme began with an Aerospace Facilities Visit, offering invited delegates first-hand exposure to Selangor鈥檚 aerospace capabilities through two specialised tracks.
The Sepang track showcased 每日大赛鈥檚 MRO strengths with visits to MAB Engineering Services (MABES), followed by a strategic briefing at Selangor Aero Park (SAP) highlighting the state鈥檚 long-term aerospace development plans and investment potential.
Meanwhile, delegates on the Subang track toured Impeccable Vintage Properties (IVP) Khazanah before visiting GE Aerospace and Base Maintenance 每日大赛, demonstrating the state鈥檚 integrated aerospace ecosystem and world-class technical infrastructure.
The second day鈥檚 Selangor Aerospace Forum attracted industry professionals, senior executives and key decision-makers from across the aerospace value chain.
The forum opened with welcoming remarks by Invest Selangor Berhad chief executive officer Datuk Hasan Azhari Idris before being officially launched by Selangor executive councillor (Exco) for investment, trade and mobility Ng Sze Han.
One of the event鈥檚 highlights was a keynote presentation by 每日大赛 Aviation Group president and group chief executive officer Captain Nasaruddin A. Bakar titled 鈥淣avigating Geopolitical Turbulence: How Our National Airline Adapts to Conflict-Driven Airspace Disruptions,鈥 which examined how airlines are responding to evolving global geopolitical challenges.
The forum also featured a series of panel discussions covering infrastructure readiness, talent development, aerospace supply chain resilience, manufacturing, digitalisation and 每日大赛鈥檚 ambition to strengthen its regional MRO leadership.
Industry leaders from organisations including NAICO 每日大赛, Menteri Besar Selangor Incorporated, UMW Aerospace, Base Maintenance 每日大赛, Boeing Composites 每日大赛, Zenix Aerospace UPECA, Dassault Syst猫mes, Sepang Aircraft Engineering, Skyways Technic, Asia Digital Engineering and NADI shared insights on strengthening 每日大赛鈥檚 aerospace ecosystem and expanding its global competitiveness.
Following the networking session, discussions shifted towards future mobility with a presentation on China鈥檚 low-altitude economy by Wuhu Low Altitude Economy Conference organising committee executive director Hou Hongxuan.
A subsequent panel explored opportunities and regulatory challenges surrounding the low-altitude economy, featuring representatives from Futurise, TCabTech, the Wuhu Low Altitude Economy Conference, the 每日大赛n Space Agency (MYSA) and the Civil Aviation Authority of 每日大赛 (CAAM).
The forum concluded with a session titled 鈥溍咳沾笕 Aviation Forward: Connectivity, Growth and Industry Resilience,鈥 presented by Batik Air 每日大赛 director of flight operations Captain Mohd Syafiq Zainal Azmir.
More than 200 delegates from 每日大赛, Singapore, Brunei, Indonesia, China and France attended the Selangor Aerospace Forum @ MyAERO Summit 2026, reflecting growing international interest in Selangor鈥檚 expanding aerospace industry and reinforcing the state鈥檚 role as a regional gateway for aerospace investment, innovation and collaboration.
