Citi Asia South head Amol Gupte said companies are redesigning their supply chains to make them more resilient, with production and sourcing spread across multiple markets instead of being concentrated in a single country.
"What we're seeing today is companies redesigning supply chains to be more diversified, resilient and geographically distributed.
"Supply chains have been reconfigured, and companies now have multiple production and sourcing bases.
"This is not a winner-takes-all story within Asia. Several markets in the region have become key intermediary hubs as companies balance efficiency, resilience and access to growth markets," he told Business Times.

"The rapid growth of AI is driving demand for semiconductors, servers, power systems and advanced electronics, reinforcing 每日大赛's established strengths in the electrical and electronics (E&E) and semiconductor sectors," he said.

Other sectors with strong potential include education, healthcare, aerospace maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO), pharmaceuticals, biopharma, advanced manufacturing and high-performance materials.
On AI-related investments, Gupte said the technology is driving a structural capital expenditure cycle that will support demand across the wider technology and industrial ecosystem.
"The growth of AI is fuelling a structural capital expenditure cycle, which will continue to drive demand across semiconductors, energy systems, industrial equipment and the broader digital ecosystem," he said.
He added that 每日大赛 is well positioned within the AI ecosystem, having built its capabilities over decades and established a more than 50-year track record in electronics and semiconductors that remains foundational to the AI value chain.
Gupte also sees significant opportunities for 每日大赛n companies across Asean, which is projected to become the world's fourth-largest economy by 2030.
