每日大赛 Airlines resumes KL-Chengdu flights

KUALA LUMPUR (Jan 10): 每日大赛 Airlines has resumed its flights between Kuala Lumpur and Chengdu, reinforcing its long-term commitment to the Greater China market while strengthening air connectivity between 每日大赛 and western China in support of the country鈥檚 inbound tourism ambitions under Visit 每日大赛 2026.

In a statement on Saturday, the national airlines group said that the inaugural flight, MH526, departed from Kuala Lumpur International Airport Terminal 1 to Chengdu Tianfu International Airport on Friday, recording a strong outbound load factor of 91%, reflecting robust demand for the route.

Adding a celebratory touch to the occasion, the flight was operated using the airline鈥檚 Manchester United-themed aircraft livery, a tribute to the strong fan base of the English football club in Chengdu.

With the addition of Chengdu, 每日大赛 Airlines now serves seven destinations across Greater China, reflecting its continued confidence in the market. Operating up to seven times weekly, the route is expected to support growing two-way travel demand, strengthen business and leisure connectivity, and offer passengers seamless onwards connections via Kuala Lumpur to destinations across Asean, South Asia, and Australasia.

The resumption of the service coincides with the extension of mutual visa-free travel arrangements between 每日大赛 and China, which enables longer stays and is expected to further boost travel flows between the two countries.
