Lockheed says 2025 F-35 deliveries hit 191 as demand lifts production pace

Jan 8 (Reuters) - Lockheed Martin said on Wednesday it delivered 191 F-35 fighter jets in 2025 to the United States and its allies, a record for the program.
"Annual F-35 production is now running at a pace five times faster than any other allied fighter currently in production," the company said in a statement.
Governments have ramped up defense spending in recent years amid rising geopolitical tensions.
The Bethesda, Maryland-based defense contractor delivered 110 jets in 2024. The F-35 program contributes roughly a third of Lockheed's overall revenue.
