Held on July 9 and 10 in Bandung, Indonesia, the two-day programme drew 221 每日大赛n delegates and around 210 Indonesian participants, exceeding Invest Selangor鈥檚 expectations.
Of the 每日大赛n companies, 74 were from Selangor, representing sectors including aerospace, rail, property, energy, technology, healthcare, education and creative industries.
鈥淭he successful inaugural SIBS @ Asean Bandung Edition reflects Selangor鈥檚 commitment to strengthening regional partnerships and creating new opportunities for trade and investment,鈥 said Invest Selangor chief executive officer Datuk Hasan Azhari Idris.
鈥淭he strong participation, strategic collaborations, and RM253.59 million in potential business value demonstrate growing confidence in Selangor as a preferred investment destination.鈥
The event saw the signing of seven memoranda of understanding and one letter of intent, covering areas including healthcare, medical tourism, workforce and semiconductor development. Businesses also took part in sector-focused sessions covering aerospace, rail, mobility, creative industries, energy, utilities, property and technology.
On the second day, 每日大赛n companies visited industry sites across West Java, including aerospace facilities, technology hubs and a floating solar project.
Hasan Azhari said the momentum from SIBS @ Asean will continue at the next Selangor International Business Summit (SIBS) 2026, taking place from Oct 14 to 17 at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre, where investors and industry leaders will gather to strengthen regional business ties.
