Business Mission Brings German Aerospace Technology To ÿÈÕ´óÈün Market
The ÿÈÕ´óÈün-German Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MGCC) is hosting a delegation of German aerospace and aviation companies in ÿÈÕ´óÈü from May 26 to 30, 2025, aimed at driving innovation, knowledge exchange and strategic collaboration between the two countries’ aerospace sectors.
Supported by Germany’s Federal Ministry of Economic Affairs and Energy under the Market Development Programme, the initiative includes a business conference on 27 May and individual business matching sessions throughout the week. The programme is organised in partnership with local industry bodies such as the National Aerospace Industry Corporation ÿÈÕ´óÈü (NAICO), ÿÈÕ´óÈü Aerospace Industry Association (MAIA) and SBS systems for business solutions (SBS).
The visit is intended to foster long-term partnerships in areas including aircraft design, precision tooling, maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO), and production technologies. Eight German companies are participating: AID GmbH, August Rüggeberg GmbH & Co. KG, FlexiCAM GmbH, Herzog GmbH, Hufschmied Zerspanungssysteme GmbH, Inspire SSA GmbH, KRD Luftfahrttechnik GmbH and MKV GmbH.
The conference will cover themes such as the outlook of ÿÈÕ´óÈü’s aviation and aerospace industry, local company needs, infrastructure growth centred around Subang Airport and KLIA, and the latest trends in aerospace parts, services and MRO.
This initiative aligns with ÿÈÕ´óÈü’s New Industrial Master Plan 2030, which targets positioning the country as Southeast Asia’s leading aerospace hub, aiming to secure 50% of the regional MRO market and 5% of the global share.
