Air Charter Service Opens Office in Saudi Arabia
Air Charter Service, a global charter broker, has opened its first office in Saudi Arabia, in the capital city of Riyadh. The move marks the company鈥檚 39th global location.
CEO Justin Bowman said the timing of the opening follows the General Authority of Civil Aviation鈥檚 (GACA) recent decision to open the country鈥檚 private aviation sector to global charter companies. 鈥淩iyadh was the natural choice for this move,鈥 Bowman explained. 鈥淥ur clients value face-to-face contact, and鈥ver the next few years, we will be proudly supporting Saudi Vision 2030鈥檚 economic diversification goals by investing in local talent to grow the team.鈥
The Riyadh opening comes as demand for private aviation services grows in the region, and on the heels of the company鈥檚聽聽opening. According to GACA, private jet flights in Saudi Arabia rose 24% in 2024, with the market projected to reach $2 billion by 2030.
Elie Hanna, CEO of ACS Middle East, pointed to opportunities across several markets. 鈥淭he Kingdom offers such an opportunity, with the rapidly growing film, entertainment, and sports markets further enriching the longer-standing industries in the country,鈥 he said.
Hanna added that ACS will provide cargo support for construction projects and other complex freight operations, as well as aviation services including airline leasing.
